Because so much of Bayonne's garage stock traces back to the same 1950s building wave, we carry the torsion springs, drums, and track hardware that match that era's standard opening widths, not just the parts for brand-new construction. That's a direct result of the housing pattern across this part of the service area - pre-1960 stock in the vast majority of the roughly 133 named areas we cover means the same handful of opening sizes come up again and again.
What we don't stock is anything obsolete enough to need a manufacturer special order - old wood-panel doors on original hardware, for instance, sometimes need parts that simply aren't made anymore. When that's the case, replacement is the honest answer over a repair, and we'll say so instead of chasing down a part that'll fail again in a year.
